I do not recommend Hasan's rugs.We bought a very expensive 9X12 wool rug from them 3 years ago. It developed a smallish snag (see photo), and we contacted them for repair. Metin came to our home, quoted us $7,500 for the repair as they said they would need to completely re-weave the carpet. We told them we'd make other arrangements. Quickly he offered to do it for $3,000. We paid them upfront and they took our rug. Then, two months went by.Metin then called to tell us that the rug was repaired and to give us a date to come back to reinstall it. That appointment was missed, and we didn't hear further. In a couple of weeks, a very large (6' tall and wide) and heavy package arrived in the mail--we are seniors in our mid-70s! Apparently we were to move our living room furniture and reinstall the rug. However, we managed. This was very poor customer service for the amount we paid. Then, to our astonishment, the rug had not been repaired at all! I contacted them and initially they wanted us to package up this heavy living-room sized rug and send it back to them!Things became rather testy at this point, and they actually asked if we wanted not only our money back but also to return the rug itself. It felt like an intimidation tactic. (Metin's text: "Do you want to return the carpet you purchased as well?"). We immediately accepted that offer, which was immediately rescinded. Our entire experience with Hasan's has been negative: high pressure sales tactics, quoting exorbitantly high prices for both rugs and for repairs, and as I've described, very poor customer service. Finally, I will mention that when Metin came to examine the snag, he began criticizing our other rugs, and without our permission, had his staff start moving our foyer rug and furniture to roll out some rugs he had in his truck that he thought looked better (and that we should buy). We reiterated as politely and firmly as we could that we were not in the market to purchase another rug, but this is an example of the extremely high-pressure sales tactics used: it actually felt like a "home invasion." - Jane
