Kyle Faber and his team were terrific to work with from the moment we stepped into Faber Rugs through to the final day of installation. Kyle's deep knowledge was immediately apparent as we had a specific producer (Roger Oates) in mind for our new stair runner. Kyle walked us through options and considerations, was conscientious in sharing options at multiple price points, and placed an order for the runner to be woven that day. Later, he worked with us to recommend, source, and select rods which fit the Roger Oates design perfectly. When it came to installation, Carlos and Billy were both superstars (including immediately endearing themselves to our collie dog, who was very interested in their work), very kind, and very efficient. They were in and out in less than a day and a half. All in all our experience with Faber Rugs was top notch from start to finish, and we especially appreciated how high-touch Kyle treated even what we considered to be a relatively minor and modest project compared to what I'm sure Faber Rugs customarily handles. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

First time coming into Faber’s I was surprised with how many options they have from their sample area, stock options and remnants. Ryan helped me navigate through all the options. He was very helpful, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Ryan went over all the benefits of each type of carpet for my stairs & allowed me to take home a variety of samples to choose from. The installers who came were very friendly & went over every detail with me before beginning the installation. I would highly recommend Faber Rug!

We purchased a stair and hallway runner from Faber, and our experience has been deeply disappointing. The rug has been fraying along the edge since the day it was installed, and it has not held up in a busy home, as we were assured that it would. We've raised these concerns multiple times, but communication with the team at Faber has been difficult – it's often hard to get a response, and when we have been able to speak to someone, we've felt dismissed and disparaged. We expected a much higher level of product quality and customer service from Faber.

We’ve been buying from Faber Rugs in Wellesley since we purchased our first house over 35 years ago and they’ve never let us down. We just got two new custom rugs for a new place in downtown Boston and they again were fantastic to deal with. A special shout out to Bill and Carlos, who went through Herculean efforts to move furniture and get rugs perfectly situated in our rooms… couldn’t ask for a better company to deal with!

I have unfortunately had an extremely poor experience with Faber Rug (very similar to the recent review below). We had two sets of stairway runners installed 8 months ago. Beginning 6 months ago, we began to notice issues, including portions becoming completely disconnected from the stairs. Over the course of several weeks, voicemails were left, emails were sent and an online “contact us” form was even submitted to alert them of the issue and request a consult. Unfortunately, those communications were ignored for over a month. I only received a return call after my designer got involved. On top of it, when cancelling their visit to see the defects on short notice, I was told the soonest they could schedule again would be 8 days later (this, of course, after waiting months for them to return a call). When my designer reached out, they suddenly could come 3 days later. Bringing us to the end of this saga, after finally visiting and confirming that repairs were needed, they never reached out to schedule the repairs. Again, voicemails were left. Again, no response. When, for the final time, my designer got involved, I receive a phone call that was disrespectful and dismissive, blaming me for leaving voicemails on their main line (along with other excuses about their lack of any internal coordination). When I asked to get a call from the manager, in light of the constant issues, I was told to call him myself and leave a voicemail (but that he would likely not call me back). I’m completely shocked by the treatment and lack of accountability, but somewhat relieved to know another customer had a similar experience….
