Mannington Mills Introduce
Mannington Mills, Inc., stands out as a unique and deeply rooted fixture in the New Jersey business landscape. Established in 1915, this fifth-generation, family-owned company is headquartered right here in Mannington Township, Salem County, and is renowned globally as one of the world's leading manufacturers of fine flooring. While the name “Mannington Mills” is recognized internationally for quality and innovation, its core identity and origins remain firmly planted in Southern New Jersey.
Unlike a conventional retail home goods store, Mannington Mills operates primarily as a Manufacturer and Flooring store supplier. This means that while the core facility at the New Jersey headquarters is where the company designs, produces, and distributes its award-winning products, consumers typically engage with their floors through a network of independent authorized retailers across the region. As a New Jersey-based manufacturer, Mannington has a direct connection to the local market, ensuring its products—which are often designed and largely made in the USA—meet the needs and styles of local homeowners and commercial enterprises.
The company's product portfolio is extensive, covering nearly every type of residential and commercial floor surface. This includes a robust selection of:
Luxury Vinyl (ADURA®): Offered in planks (LVP) and tiles (LVT), Mannington’s vinyl line is celebrated for its realistic wood and stone looks combined with high durability and water resistance, making it ideal for New Jersey homes near the shore or in moisture-prone basements.
Engineered Hardwood: Providing the authentic beauty of natural wood, with various species and finishes designed to reflect current trends in home furnishings and cabinetry.
Laminate (Restoration Collection®): Known for its super durability, easy maintenance, and remarkable ability to emulate the warmth and texture of real hardwood.
Sheet Vinyl: Often called resilient flooring, offering seamless style that is durable, kid-friendly, pet-friendly, and simple to maintain.
The corporate headquarters and manufacturing facility for Mannington Mills, Inc. are centrally located in Salem County at 75 Mannington Mills Rd, Mannington Township, NJ 08079, USA. Mannington Township itself is a largely agrarian community dedicated to preserving its 'Greenbelt' status, offering a beautiful, rural backdrop for this historic New Jersey company. The physical location is part of the industrial base of the area, situated near the Salem River.
As a major commercial entity, the location is generally accessible via major county and state routes like New Jersey Route 45, which serves the Salem-Woodstown area. Customers should note that this is primarily a corporate headquarters and manufacturing site. While some sources suggest limited showroom hours (such as one day a week), consumers are generally advised to contact the company or visit one of the many authorized independent Mannington retailers across New Jersey to view the full product lines and purchase flooring.
In terms of physical access for visitors to the corporate facility, the location is compliant with essential standards, featuring a Wheelchair accessible entrance and a Wheelchair accessible parking lot, ensuring a straightforward arrival for those conducting official business or attending scheduled appointments.
As a manufacturer, Mannington Mills' core services are centered on the design, production, and distribution of flooring. Direct consumer services are primarily focused on product support, warranty assistance, and connection to authorized dealers.
Direct Product Support: Representatives are available via phone to answer product questions, handle inquiries, and assist in connecting consumers with local authorized retailers for purchases and installation.
Retailer Network Connection: The company provides a robust, dealer-centric service, linking New Jersey consumers to independent flooring stores that stock and install Mannington products.
Online Design Tools: The company offers digital resources such as a "Find the Right Floor" tool and a "Virtual Decorator" to help homeowners visualize different flooring styles in their own spaces before visiting a retailer.
Sample Program: Allowing customers to order samples of various flooring options directly to aid in the decision-making process.
Warranty and Claims Processing: Providing formal channels for registered customers to submit and manage product claims, a necessary service for major home investments like flooring.
Commitment to Quality Control: While not a service offered directly to consumers, the extensive in-house research and development ensures that every product manufactured meets Mannington’s internal standards before reaching the New Jersey market.
Mannington Mills brings several distinguishing characteristics to the New Jersey flooring market, focused on quality, innovation, and corporate responsibility.
Local Roots and History: As a 5th generation, family-owned company established in 1915 and headquartered in New Jersey, they represent a strong, enduring local economic presence.

Focus on Sustainability: The company is noted for its environmental and sustainability initiatives, including the use of recycled content in products like its laminate flooring and the early adoption of ultra-low VOC, water-based inks.
Designed in the USA: A point of pride for the company and a highlight for customers who value domestically designed products, with most of their styles also manufactured in the USA.

Choosing Mannington Mills flooring is about investing in a product created by a company with deep local roots and a century-long commitment to the craft. For New Jersey residents, selecting a Mannington floor means supporting a manufacturer right here in the state while gaining access to advanced, stylish, and varied flooring options.
It is important for consumers to recognize, as some customer feedback indicates, that flooring is a major home investment, and like any manufactured product, experiences can vary. Specific product lines, such as the Engineered Hardwood, have generated critical feedback concerning durability, particularly in homes with pets or high activity, and issues with claims responses. The feedback highlights a critical expectation: when purchasing a high-cost, long-term product, customers require not only initial quality but also responsive and reliable post-sale support and warranty service.
Despite isolated negative experiences, the overarching benefit of choosing Mannington remains its heritage, innovation, and breadth of selection. Their luxury vinyl (ADURA®) and durable laminate (Restoration Collection®) lines are frequently praised alternatives to traditional hardwood, offering high design at a more resilient price point, which is crucial for the demanding environments of modern New Jersey life. The company’s continued existence for over a century and its status as a leading manufacturer suggest a foundation built on extensive industry knowledge and a history of quality.
For any New Jersey homeowner considering a Mannington product, the best approach is to leverage the company’s extensive dealer network. Visit a local authorized retailer to see samples, discuss the specific warranty for your chosen product line, and get professional installation quotes. This ensures that you not only receive a floor from a proud New Jersey manufacturer but also benefit from the local retailer's expertise in selecting a product best suited to your specific home, traffic, and lifestyle needs. By buying local, you support New Jersey's manufacturing base while receiving a product backed by a legacy of flooring design.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Had $6-7k floors installed in 2022 within weeks these scratches appeared. Our 20 lbs terrier mix is the problem? I can scratch the floors with my finger nail! Then they want to deny claims. Consumers looks like they did great up until about 3 years ago. Boo! Boo on this company!
July 20 · Ryan DurhamPurchased Mannington Engineered hardwood a few years ago and already have to spend thousands of dollars to replace it. I spoke with a representative after the floor was purchased to ask what type of wood “Iberian Hazelwood” was as I could not find any wood with that name. After two weeks, they couldn’t actually tell me. The floors are very light and when any scratch occurs it leaves a black, particle board appearance in the wood. If the slightest thing gets dropped it leaves a dent, and the edges are coming up on several of the boards. I’ve purchased engineered flooring several times over the years and have never had one fail like this one. Of course I have emailed, with no response and already know what the result of a claim would be. We wanted to buy local, this is the thanks we get for that.
January 24 · Karen EvingerI am not happy with the decrease in quality of mannigton flooring in the past years. We ordered the same flooring 7 years after the original installation and it is half the thickness as the original.
August 27 · Barb CurranI installed their Restoration collection, historic oak in my new house. Over 2000 sq ft of it. We chose it because it looks good and like actual real wood floors with the beveled edges. They claim they are waterproof right in their warranty and web site. This is the farthest from the truth. If water sits on these floors, especially on the seams, it will swell the floors in less than an hour. We have already made a warranty claim where they had to replace seven boards. I had to ask if they have anything we can apply to the seam to prevent this from happening. They gave us one bottle that barely covered a quarter of our floors, that I HAD TO APPLY. I asked for two more bottles, and they tried to charge me. Then they wanted $30 to ship them. Mind you these are 3 fl oz bottles. The only way to fix the ruined boards is by cutting them out and gluing them back in. This defeats the purpose of a floating floor and the boards creak when you step on some of them. Common business sense would say, let's give them the $40 bottles so we don't have to come out again and spend thousands to fix more floors. Then again, the Spillsheild is yet to be determined if it will help. Considering I build a lot of houses for myself and others, I will not be using Mannington floors anymore. So now this will likely cost them hundreds of thousands.
May 14 · Bond, JamesDo not buy Adura Max flooring, it scratches easily , finish is rubbed off moving chairs with felt protectors, difficult to clean with expensive Mannington floor cleaner. They do not stand by the product with any warranty issues.
