The Home Depot Introduce
For homeowners, renters, and professional contractors across the Upper Valley region of New Hampshire, tackling any size project—from a leaky faucet to a full kitchen remodel—requires a dependable, well-stocked resource. The Home Depot in West Lebanon, NH, serves as that essential hub, functioning as a massive, multi-department Home Improvement Store that consolidates the offerings of a dedicated Hardware Store, Appliance Store, Paint Store, and more under one roof. It is a central point for those living in or around West Lebanon, Lebanon, Hanover, and the surrounding towns, providing materials, tools, and expert services necessary to transform a vision into a completed project.
The sheer scope of products available is what draws many local users to this location. Whether you need lumber for a new deck, the perfect shade of paint for an interior refresh, a brand-new energy-efficient refrigerator, or the specialized tools for a weekend DIY task, The Home Depot is structured to provide immediate access to a vast inventory. The store features specialized departments, making it simple to find everything from plumbing supplies and electrical components to decorative items like rugs and window treatments. Customers appreciate the option to visit for a "Quick Visit" to grab essential items, or to take their time exploring the showrooms dedicated to areas like baths and cabinets.
Beyond retail, the West Lebanon store differentiates itself by offering a suite of vital services. These include Home Services like professional Installation Service for flooring, windows, and HVAC, a dedicated Tool and Truck Rental Center, and highly flexible purchasing options such as Same-Day Delivery and Curbside Pickup. While the logistical process for large item delivery, such as appliances, can sometimes present challenges—as reflected in customer feedback regarding communication gaps and third-party delivery policies—the store's in-store team and professional services desk consistently strive to be "approachable, helpful and are polite," remaining a key factor in customer loyalty. The comprehensive nature of the offerings makes The Home Depot a crucial partner for both large-scale home renovations and quick repairs across the New Hampshire region.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1I rent and my fridge broke, so my kind landlady ordered a new one that was supposed to be delivered on Monday. I emptied it out, storing food with my friend and the landlady. The initial delivery time given was between 1 AM and 12:59 AM but eventually they gave a realistic window of 7 and 11 AM. The landlady was adamant about paying to dispose of the old fridge, because we're not equipped to haul it down the stairs ourselves. The delivery guy from Home Depot showed up and checked out the space and the old fridge and then said the landlady did not pay to have it hauled away. He said he cannot bring the old fridge downstairs but he could move it to the dining room. He unplugged it and moved it to the center of the kitchen before going back down to check on something. My landlady, who lives downstairs, stepped in and said she did pay to haul away the fridge. He continued to claim she did not and then he just left. He did not tell me he was not going to come back and he left all the doors to the house wide open, as well as leaving the fridge unplugged, in the middle of the room. Home Depot then refunded the charge to haul away and said they would reschedule for Thursday. The new delivery guys came and announced that the fridge was too big and they are not allowed, per company policy, to lift the new fridge over the porch railing to get it inside of the house. Nor can they remove the old fridge due to the same problem. The guy from Monday did not mention this. The old fridge was measured to a T and the new refrigerator was ordered based on those measurements. (Side note: I had a large couch delivered recently and the delivery guys for that threw the old couch over the railing of the porch into the driveway - I have large pieces of furniture that have also made it into the house easily). So now I am still without a fridge, in limbo, with food stored around the neighborhood and a 5-year old to feed. (Also, I've had to get up and get things ready and try to squeeze in dropping my 5-year old at school and be home for the delivery window two days this week and I have a job). I would NOT recommend having Home Depot deliver especially without knowing their policies ahead of time. (Also, please note, I do not blame the second delivery guy - he was just doing his job and following company policy and was nice about it - but why the previous guy did not mention any of this, I don't know. That would have saved another day of going through this...) Thumbs Down.PS My parents recently ordered cabinets from Home Depot and one of the cabinets arrived damaged and the delivery service said that happens frequently - soooo why don't they change something to ensure items are NOT damaged in transit?? Seems like these delivery service companies Home Depot uses needs to be changed...
October 09 · Jenna GoodmanThe employees at Home Depot try hard. The cooperation as a whole, however, does not. Ordering online and picking up at the store is a nightmare but seems to now be their preferred method unless you want to pay big bucks for shipping. And then if you have to return the item because its completey damaged and looks like it got delivered by Ace Venterra from the first movie, also a nightmare. I ordered a door weeks ago and finally had to call online customer service and turns out the whole door has just gone misssing, made it to WRJ and then just disappeared l, nobody ever called me..but they sure did take my money for the lost door. Phone is always ringing off the hook, lines are out of control, especially at the return-pickup desk. I've had so many issues with online orders, I have no idea why I don't go somewhere else. Their prices aren't anything special, I can get some of the same items at my very small local hardware store down the road. I cringe everytime I need to go the Lebanon Depot, it's a complete nightmare there. Sonr even get me going about what its lkke to drive on 12a to get thwre and back, that too nightmare. But not because of the employees, like I said they always try really hard to be approachable, helpful and are polite. I guess maybe I keep going there is only because of the employees 🤷 😕
June 12 · jessica desiletsWhile the store itself is fine if you know where things are; don’t bother asking people for help. Had an employee literally yank my wife’s phone out of her hand when she was showing them what we were looking for - didn’t ask if she could touch it or anything. Was very disrespectful towards us in general and couldn’t have seem to care any less than they already did because it wasn’t her department. Please train your staff in etiquette and just being respectful.

September 08 · Stuart FloydI would do zero stars if I was able.DO NOT PAY FOR A 4 HOUR DELIVERY WINDOW.Our delivery was 2 hours late.No return on extra payment for a 4 hour delivery window.I received no information from the 2 numbers I received to call for customer care. The first number I called doesn't even know the company they use for delivery. They do not give you an exact delivery update time. The store I called kept me on hold for 30 minutes with no answers. They do not communicate with customers or their drivers.Awful experience.I will keep supporting Lowes and never give a dollar to home depot again.Oh this was a 2.5k purchase as well.
